The Music Department is announcing the 22nd annual Madrigal Dinners, taking place Friday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10 at 7:00 pm in the STM cafeteria. Come & celebrate the Christmas Season with our lords and ladies of the STM Madrigal Dinner Feast.
Tickets go on sale November 10 and end November 30 and are $40 each, which includes dinner. Tickets must be pre-purchased through https://stmmusicanddrama.ludus.com/index.php. No tickets will be available at the door.

Blessed Feast of All Souls' Day or for our Spanish classes, Dia de los Muertos. They constructed an Ofrenda in our main hallway to commemorate deceased loved ones and prayed a rosary in Mary's garden. Requiescant in pace.

A group of students made the trek up to the Pilsen area of Chicago for an immersion trip into Hispanic culture. They toured the National Museum of Mexican Art, visited a panadería and a taquería, and walked around the neighborhood on a mural tour.

The EMPOWER Illinois Tax Credit Scholarship Program is due to "sunset" in January 2023. We would like to have it be permanent. The upcoming legislative veto session in Springfield is our first and most important chance to let our elected officials know that we want them to remove the sunset provision of the law.

Another way to help is by traveling to Springfield during the veto session in mid-November. EMPOWER Illinois is going to pay for a charter bus to transport a large group from our area. We are going to plan on Wednesday the 16th of November. It will be an all day event with 9 am departure and a 5 pm return. They will also provide lunch. We need 25 to 30 people from STM to help make this reality. Please contact the STM front office if you'd like to attend.
