THE HIGH SCHOOL OF SAINT THOMAS MORE ENROLLMENT PROCESS
Step 1: Complete the Admissions Application Process
Our admissions application is a three-step process, which can be completed all at once or saved and completed in steps. A step-by-step guide for completing the admissions application can be found here.
If the applicant should be extended an offer of admission, an acceptance letter and welcome information will be sent by mail to the applicant's home address.
*Steps 2 and 3 of the enrollment process are only relevant if you receive and accept an offer of admission.*
Step 2: Course Registration
After receiving and accepting an offer of admission, the incoming student will need to select his or her preference of courses for the upcoming semester.
This is done electronically and the information on how to do so will be included in the student's welcome information that is mailed with their acceptance letter.
The Guidance Counselor will then review these choices and finalize the incoming student's class schedule. His or her class schedule will also then be viewable to both student and parent(s) in our enrollment software, PowerSchool.
Step 3: Incoming Student Records Submission
Lastly, to complete the enrollment process, all incoming families will need to provide up to date medical records for their child before the start of school.
Parents will receive an email over the summer detailing what specific information needs to be submitted.
Please note that all new students are required to submit a physical and immunization record and a dental form. Students coming from out of state must also provide a current eye examination record to the school. Seniors must meet the State of Illinois Immunization Requirements.
