Seniors, the deadline to turn in your Name Verification form to the office is Wednesday, September 3.
For anyone interested in playing or learning about chess, there will be a brief informational meeting on Wednesday at 3:15 in room 102 to gauge the level of interest in a club this year and to determine which day of the week will work best for all interested players. Stop by and cast your vote.
Come join Art Club on Wednesdays, from 3:15 to 4:15 pm! It’s lots of fun and we get to do things like make ceramic bowls for Empty Bowl Supper, design Art Club merch and much more. All are welcome and if you would like to get email about Art Club, sign up on the sheet in room 214 or ask Mrs. Pagel.
There will be a Science Olympiad Interest and Kickoff meeting today, Wednesday, September 3, right after school in Mr. Ray’s classroom. Everyone who is interested in Science Olympiad this school year and those who have already signed up are encouraged to attend. Learn all about the activity, the events and the schedule way ahead.
Join us Friday, September 5, during Block in the library for our first Career Conversation of the school year. Teachers-Educators will be here to discuss how they went from a high school student to a licensed teacher! They will answer your questions and give you tips to help you along the way.
Are you interested in being a Shadow Leader for this school year? Come to a training on Thursday, September 11 at 7:30 am in the library. Even if you’ve been a Shadow Leader in the past, come to the meeting to hear what we are doing new this year and to get your name on the list as a Shadow Leader. Only trained Shadow Leaders will be able to have students shadow you through the year, so if you think someone might request you, come to the trainings.
