Students, please be sure to check your email for important information regarding the schedule for Wednesday, April 10.

A thought for your Tuesday: “Language is the dress of thought.  Someone uneducated in language and literature dresses poorly, while those who are knowledgeable dress well.  Those who know only one language have a single outfit while those who know more than one has an outfit for many occasions.”

Today’s events for World Culture Week include World Crafts during lunch featuring the ever-popular HAND HENNA, International Tiles, and Origami.  Special thanks to Mrs. Pagel and her talented Art Club!  Crafts are free for all to enjoy.  Don’t forget to get your pulseras this week for yourself, as well as friends and family and have a great time exploring the world through art and making connections across borders!

On Thursday morning in House, our entire school will participate in a WORLD ROSARY, where many languages of our STM family and God’s amazing world will be represented and recited while praying for ALL our brothers and sisters around the globe.  Voices of the Rosary will immediately line up outside the office at 10:00, while others will head to their Houses at the end of 3rd hour.  Teachers, please have the World Rosary Google Slide presentation pulled up and loaded, including the music video at the end, and adjust the volume to be sure you can hear and see the music video at the end of the slides.   We will all follow along via intercom and participate as we pray the World Rosary shared by Sra. Stewart and led by more than 50 students, faculty, and staff.  Thank you in advance for your participation and your prayers.

Thursday is “WEAR YOUR HERITAGE DRESS DOWN DAY” for $5 that will benefit SHH and the Hispanic community.  You may wear appropriate attire celebrating your heritage or a jersey from the country of your heritage.  Please dress appropriately, as this is a celebration of the cultures represented at our school.  If you have any questions as to what would be appropriate, please see Sra. Quick or Sra. Stewart.   Representatives from SHH will collect the money at the beginning of 2nd hour.
