Happy Birthday to Dalton Carmien.

 

STM’s Annual Construction Food Drive has begun!  Please bring in cans so that your family can build a structure during house on October 6.  Donations go on the stage in the areas marked for each family.  All proceeds will go to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry.  Our goal is 10 cans or more per student.

 

Hello STM, this is your answer to “Think About It Thursday.”  “My wife’s age times one and a half times her age is 1,176.  How old is my wife?’  The answer: 28  For further explanation, consult a math teacher.  Brought to you again by the dastardly Mister REE, not Mr. Ray who is in no way dastardly and is an upstanding teacher at STM.

 

Newly intercepted intelligence indicates that spies will assassinate a beloved regime figure in the next two weeks! Do you want to help the spies or the regime? Or play both sides? Join STM's CIA Training to learn some trade-craft and have fun plotting.  Talk to Jack McDonald during 5a lunch. Talk to Noah McDonald or Mr. McDonald during 5b lunch as soon as possible to receive the access key for your team.  Only during lunch! Don't let the other team know who you are!

 

Need something to do on the half day on Friday, October 1?  Want to help some old nuns avoid breaking their backs by doing yard work for them?  Please contact Fr. O’Brien for more information.  He will give double the hours for your work. 

 

A representative from University of Missouri and St. Francis Medical Center College of Nursing will be here for a college visit Monday, October 4 during lunch.  Their information tables will be either in the cafeteria or in the commons by the gym.  Students interested in learning more about these institutions should speak with the representative. 

 

Wednesday, October 6, a representative from Jostens will be here to distribute graduation announcement order forms to the Class of 2022 and class ring order forms to the Class of 2024.  Order forms will be turned in during the lunch periods on Wednesday, October 13.

 

A representative from McKendree University will be here for a college visit Thursday, October 7 during lunch.  Their information table will be either in the cafeteria or in the commons by the gym.  Students interested in learning more about this institutions should speak with the representative.
