The High School of Saint Thomas More held is Baccalaureate and Commencement Exercises on Sunday, May 17th at 2pm for eighty-six students. STM was honored to have the Knights of Columbus leading the procession. Father Joseph Dondanville served as Celebrant with Monsignor Albert Hallin, Monsignor Mark Merdian, Father Joseph Hogan, Father Steve Willard, Father Steve Engelbrecht and Father Bruce Lopez in attendance. Lindsey Weishar and James Zielinski were the recipients of the Saint Thomas More award. Valedictorian Ji-Su Park warmed the hearts of those in attendance as she spoke to her fellow students. “What is most important is invisible. Our future, like our God, is invisible… There is nothing to be afraid of regarding our invisible future as long as we interact, love, and understand; as long as we hold onto God.” Students were recognized at the Annual Honors Luncheon on Friday, and all award winners are listed below, as well as the $816,000 in merit scholarships award to STM students. God’s blessings to the Class of 2009 as they continue their journey.
