The High School of St. Thomas More was named a 2014 National Blue Ribbon School by the US Secretary of Education! The National Blue Ribbon award is earned based on overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. National Blue Ribbon Schools demonstrate that all students can achieve to high levels. STM is one of only 50 private and 287 public schools to earn the 2014 National Blue Ribbon School.
Listen for these students on the radio. These students won our STM "My School" radio contest and are featured on Mix 94.5, WIXY, and the Hits 99.1.

Attention: Have you made a bowl for the Empty Bowl Supper? If not, don’t worry, you still have time! Art Clubis hosting a special bowl-making event (January 29th, 4:00- 8:00pm), so you, your friends, and your relatives can have a hand-made bowl to eat soup out of at the Empty Bowl Supper February 20th!
John Lancaster Spalding Scholarship Fund Grants: Scholarship grants for students enrolled in or intending to enroll in Catholic schools. For application and more information, see Giving page.
FAFSA Completion Night: February 11th from 5:30 - 6:30pm. A representative will be here to serve as a resource for parents who are filling out the FAFSA. You will be able to complete the FAFSA and submit it with the help from an expert. Please make sure you have your taxes and your student’s social security number when you come.
Annual College Night: February 25th from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Sophomores and juniors are highly recommended to attend to learn more about the importance of their junior and senior year. There will also be presentations regarding the college admissions process and dual credit through Parkland. You will have plenty of time to ask questions to admissions counselors from several different universities. There will also be a representative from the NCAA to discuss what you need to know about college athletics.
