Dear Prospective Students and Families,

Thank you for your interest in our school! Please see the steps below for how to complete The High School of Saint Thomas More's admissions application. 

Completing the admissions application is the first step in the enrollment process (detailed here). If your child is extended an offer of admission, more information on finishing the enrollment process will be sent by mail along with your child's acceptance letter and welcome information.

Please note that a decision regarding enrollment cannot be made until ALL forms are complete and properly submitted. Additionally, this means that you will NOT be eligible for any early application discounts if you have not submitted a fully completed application as outlined below.

And unlike in years past, there is no longer a fee associated with completing the admissions application.

Completing the STM Admissions Application

Step 1: Complete the Pre-registration for Enrollment Form

Please use this link to go to our pre-registration for enrollment form and submit it.

After filling out this form, you will receive an automated email from "" with the subject "STM Admissions App: Steps 2 and 3," which will include how to finish the admissions application process. If you do not receive this email in your inbox, please check your spam folder.

At this point, your student's profile HAS been successfully created within our enrollment software, PowerSchool, however, your student's application will continue to be in "Incomplete Status" until you complete and properly submit the forms online as outlined in the initial email you received from PowerSchool when you completed the pre-registration for enrollment formIf you do resubmit this form for a student whose profile is already created, any sequential pre-registration for enrollment forms will be rejected, and you will receive an automated email from PowerSchool stating as such.

*International applicants: please fill out the address and contact information fields in this form with your host family's information. If you do not yet have a host family, please fill out those fields with our school's information. Thank you.*

Step 2: Set up or add your child to an existing PowerSchool Account

(a) If you do not already have a PowerSchool account, you can set one up by doing the following:

1. Open the internet browser on your computer.

2.Type into the address bar.

3. Click on "Create New User" tab.

4. Fill in the information requested for your desired username and password.

5. Enter your student's full name, Access ID and Password. Your student's Access ID and Password will be found in the automated email you receive after completing the pre-registration for enrollment form.

(b) If you already have a PowerSchool account for a currently enrolled student, follow these steps to add your new student to your account:

1. Open the internet browser on your computer.

2.Type into the address bar.

3. Log in using your already created PowerSchool Parent Portal username and password.

4. Click on "Account Preferences," and select the second "Students" tab.

5. Click on "Add" in the upper right hand corner and use your new student's Access ID and Password to link your new student to your account.

Step 3: Complete Forms

In PowerSchool, select the student you are enrolling and click on the "Forms" link within the left navigation menu. 

Once all these forms are completed and properly submitted, your student's application will be reviewed and the Director of Enrollment will be in touch regarding an admission decision. Please also create your FACTS account, as detailed below, or if you already have one, please add your new student to your FACTS account. That is found here

Please note that ALL forms MUST be completed before a decision on enrollment can be made. In order for your student's application to be considered, and for you to be eligible to receive a 5% tuition discount on your student(s)' tuition, all forms must be fully complete and properly submitted by December 1, 2022. From December 1 to February 1, 2023, a 2% tuition discount will be applied for completed and properly submitted admissions applications. After February 1, no tuition discounts will be offered.

Tuition/FACTS Information:

FACTS is the management system we use to send out and process tuition payments. For the 2023-2024 academic year, parents/guardians should be able to go in and complete these payments mid-February 2023, and we encourage you to set up your account as soon as possible.
