Do you want to know what it is like to be a Saber? Come and experience a day in the life of an STM student as you shadow a Saber for a school day. This unique opportunity allows you to meet current students, teachers, and staff, get a preview of some of the many classes that are offered, and most importantly, encounter Christ through prayer and the faith community at STM.
On the day of the shadow visit, we ask your student to arrive at the STM office at 7:50 a.m. so that we can introduce your student to his or her Shadow Leader before the school day begins. Your student will get a Shadow folder with various information and a voucher for a complimentary hot lunch from the school cafeteria. At the end of the school day, your child and the Shadow Leader will return to the office for a brief follow-up. You are welcome to join. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions about STM and what your family’s next step would be.
Please note that the same STM Code of Conduct and classroom expectations will apply to your student during their shadow visit. There is no cell phone or electronic device use allowed during the school day. We also ask that any backpack be left in the front office for the duration of the visit. Your student does not have to dress in the school uniform, but we do ask that they keep our dress code in consideration and dress appropriately.
Sign up below by filling out the “Shadow a Saber” registration form and STM will be in touch with your family about setting up a date for your student to come and visit. Preference for shadows will be for current 7th and 8th grade students. Please note that due to the end of semester preparations, students may shadow until the end of November/first week of December and then again in January until the end of April.
**Please note that the dates listed on the Google Form are the only dates you will be able to visit STM without the Director of Enrollment's permission.
We look forward to welcoming you to campus! You belong here; sign up today! If you have any further questions please contact Mrs. Erica Sherman, firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the school office at 217-352-7210.
