New Empower Illinois Donor Wizard
Empower Illinois is excited to announce the launch of our new donor wizard this Thursday, June 18, at 7pm!
The process for giving through ACH payment, the most common donation type, remains the same in the new donor wizard. There is, however, one major change to the process for check, stock, and wire donations: we are now asking all donors to upload their Contribution Authorization Certificate to the donor wizard and compete their designation form online. Please see our new step-by-step donation guide for a walk through of the entire process from beginning to end. If a donor does not feel comfortable using the donor wizard, however, they can reach out to our Donor Helpline (309-644-4524, donors@empowerillinois.org) for assistance.
We understand that this may be an adjustment for some donors. But we hope they understand moving these forms online is more efficient for our team, will allow donations to appear more quickly in your EmpowerXChange portal, and will help convert donations into scholarships as soon as possible for your students.
The new donor wizard is just the first step in our complete website redesign, which will launch later this summer. Please keep an eye on your email for more details.
