Thanks from the Fine Arts Department
Fine Arts Night at STM was a great event!! Thank you to all who
attended, helped with set up and clean up and all the students who
performed and created artwork. It was truly a great representation of
the talents of our students. The silent auction was also a wonderful
success, bringing in more than $450! It is clear that St. Thomas More
is a community where the Fine Arts thrive!

This is a 9 day camp for students ages 8-17. Campers will learn the entire process of producing a musical, starting with auditions for specific roles, and ending with performances on the final day of camp. They will learn about costumes, make-up, set design and construction, props, lighting and sound. There will be hands-on workshops in these and other aspects of theatre. We will also play many theatre games designed to build the young actor’s confidence and develop their acting and vocal skills. Students should bring a sack lunch each day.

Student Services
Course Requests
In the past, Student Services has made every effort to accommodate students' course requests in their schedules. However, as student enrollment increases, (good thing!) it becomes more difficult to accommodate all requests. Previously, we allowed many students to sit in a "regular" class but perform the workload of an "honors" class and receive the honors credit. We will not be able to do this any longer. Please be ready to make alternate choices if you do not receive your first ones. Seniors receive scheduling priority, then juniors, then sophomores and then freshmen.
