Santa, Sammy and the Saber Pack wish the Lady Raiders “Good Luck”!

Santa and Sammy the Saber along with Saber Pack Leaders Ally Heffernan, Anna Sikorski and CJ Young surprised the Lady Raiders at the St. Matthew’s Pep Assembly on Friday, December 9th. The Lady Raiders 8th Grade Girls’ Basketball Team advanced to the State semi-finals playing Roanoke Benson this Saturday, 12/10 at 11:30am at Monticello Jr. High. If the girls win, they advance to the State Final Four playing at 5pm. Santa, Sammy, the Saber Pack and the entire STM community, want to give a “shout out” to the Lady Raiders. Congratulations and Good Luck! GO RAIDERS!!

The High School of Saint Thomas More is hosting the 7th and 8th grade boy’s basketball games between Holy Cross and St. Matthew’s on Friday, November 11th. The 7th graders tip off at 4:30pm with the 8th graders tipping off approximately 15 minutes after the 7th grade game buzzer. The high spirited STM Saber Pack will be cheering for both the Crusaders and the Raiders. Come on out and cheer for your favorite team.

St. Malachy School in Rantoul is hosting their annual Auction and Fall Festival Fundraiser.

Auction: Knights of Columbus Sat Oct 8th, 2011. Doors open at 6:00pm.
Fall Festival: Sun Oct 9th, 2011 at St. Malachy School. Doors open at 10:00am.

Do we look to what the world/our society tells us will satisfy our hunger for happiness or do we look to God.
