- Boys Golf Meeting - 6/8

There will be a meeting for all boys interested in playing golf next year on June 8th at 6:30 - 7:30 in the STM library. This meeting is for the boys and their parents. Anyone not able to attend this meeting must contact Coach Murphy by email at timu5@aol.com. If you know of any boys who will be freshmen next year, please invite them to attend this meeting.

- Baseball Wins Regional Advances to Sectional

Saber varsity baseball beat Unity 10-2 last night to win the IHSA Regional Baseball Tournament. They play Wednesday, 5/26, at 4:30pm vs. Teutopolis at Unity in the Sectional Semi-final. Come out and cheer on Saber baseball. Admission $5. Concessions available.

The softball regional scheduled for today, 5/21, has been postponed until Saturday, 5/22, 11:00am at Unity HS, Tolono. STM vs Monticello. The championship game will be played on Monday, 5/24, 4:30pm at Unity. SJO vs winner game 3.

- Baseball Regional Cancelled Today, 5/21

The Baseball Regional scheduled for today, Unity vs Oakwood, has been postponed to tomorrow,Saturday, 5/22, 11:00am at STM. The championship game will be played on Monday, 5/24, 4:30pm at STM. STM vs Winner Game 3.

Football apparel is now available for the upcoming 2010 STM football season. To order your Saber Football apparel for 2010 simply go to the football webpage by clicking on ‘Campus Life’, ‘Athletics’, and ‘Football’. Download the order form and return the completed form and a check to the Athletic Office.

STM Baseball - Co-Champs SVC Conference. Sabers went 14-2 in conference play and 24-6 in the regular season. Congratulations!

- Girls’ Golf Meeting

- Girls Track IHSA Sectional

Girls’ Track will be at the IHSA Sectional Track Meet at GCMS, Gibson City, on Friday, 5/14. Meet begins at 4:00pm with field events followed by track events. Finals for track events begin a 6:30pm. Admission $5/person. Concessions available.

- Girls’ Tennis Meeting

There will be a girls’ tennis meeting on Thursday, May 20 at 5:00pm at Atkins Tennis Center. The meeting is for all incoming freshman girls and current STM girls who are interested in playing tennis in the fall. All parents are welcome to attend. Please contact Asst. - STM Hosts Baseball Regionals

STM will host the IHSA Class 2A Baseball Regional on May 17, May 19, May 20 and May 22. Game time on May 17, May 19 and May 20 is 4:30pm. May 22 game time is 11:00am. Site of the 5/17 play in game is at St. Joseph. The site for all remaining dates will be at St. Thomas More. Admission: $4. Concessions will be available at the St. Thomas More site.

Come out and cheer on our Saber Seniors as they take the field/court one last time in their final home events. You can see soccer seniors in action on Tues., May 4, 4:30pm, against St. Teresa; tennis seniors will be at the Atkins Tennis Center on Tues., May 11 at 4:30pm, vs Mt. Zion; and baseball and softball seniors will be honored on Thursday, May 13, against St. Joe, first pitch at 4:30p. Support your Sabers!
