Approval for Summer Service Hours

Now is the time to submit proposals for summer projects.

Proposals can be found here: tinyurl.com/lf-proposal

Fr. Lampitt will be out of the area several days this summer, so please plan ahead.  Permission for a proposal CANNOT be given via phone or email (see #1 below).

Some things to note:
1) Proposals serve as a liability disclaimer. Thus. . .
2) It is VERY important that a proposal for ANY and ALL projects be submitted and signed by Fr. Lampitt before the project is ever begun.
3) The proposal—before the project is ever begun—must be signed by the student, a parent/guardian, and (preferably) the one who will supervise the work (not a family member).
4) If you are unsure of the precise dates for a summer project, just write in:  6/1/11 to 9/1/11
5) proposals must be able to demonstrate that a project relates to a corporal or spiritual work of mercy (see p. 2: tinyurl.com/lf-guidelines)

If you mail him a proposal, please:
a) allow him plenty of time to respond.
b) include a self-addressed-stamped-envelope for easy return.

You may also fax a completed proposal to him at STM (allow plenty of time for a response):  217-352-7213
