Biology - Rubber Gloves for dissections (reusable).

Theology
Holy Bible, The New American Bible, School and Church Edition, published by Fireside. This is the same Bible used by Holy Cross School. Returning students do not need to purchase this Bible. For questions, contact Fr. Lampitt at rlampitt@hs-stm.org.
Freshman Theology
For the upcoming school year all Freshman need to have certain supplies for their Freshman Theology class. All students need to have the New American Bible (published by Fireside Catholic Publishing - the website will give an example of what Bible the students should have- http://www.firesidebibles.com/school--church-edition--regular-print-item.html), which can be found at C&A Inspirations, and other book stores. They also need to have a spiral notebook (just a simple notebook; can be found very reasonable at Meijer (.15 for one subject notebooks this wee), Target or Wal-Mart) for their daily journal writings (this will be separate from their regular notebook for class). Lastly, they will need to have a copy of the Catechism as well, which can also be found at C&A or most book stores. Students will need to have all three (Bible, Catechism, and Notebook for journal) for the first week of class and they will be counted as an assignment. Junior Theology

Art as a Hobby - students may be asked to bring in various inexpensive items throughout the course.
Drawing Sketchbook with cloth binding no smaller than 8” x 11”
Portfolio to store daily work (approximately 23” x 31” x 2")
Drawing students may wish to bring a variety of other drawing media.
Ceramics A set of pottery tools (optional)
Art I Two poster boards (22” x 28” ) in any color.
Art II Two paint brushes (1/2” flat and 1/4” or 1/2” round) for acrylic paint, (additional assorted brushes optional), two 22” x 28” poster boards any color, a small plastic palette (preferably with a cover).
Art III Hard cover spiral bound sketchbook, set of brushes for acrylics and a set for watercolors (sizes will be discussed in class), charcoal pencil set that includes white, a kneaded eraser, a plastic palette (preferably with a cover). Portfolio to store daily work (approximately 23” x 31” x 2")
Art IV/Honors and AP 2D Studio Hard cover sketchbook, good quality oil/acrylic brush set (sizes to be determined), 1” x 2” boards and cotton duck canvas (size to be determined later), oil paint set with extra white (the school will have a basic starter set that can be purchased), turpenoid, a palette (varieties available will be discussed in class), drawing pens with a variety of tips (optional) and a portfolio (cardboard ok) to store daily work (approximately 23” x 31” x 2") Additional items may need to be purchased depending on the students choice of projects.
