How do I Apply
Submit completed and signed STM Application and accompanying application/enrollment fees.
Complete an EXPLORE Test. This examination is a placement test and a mandatory part of the admission application. The results of this examination are solely for the purpose of ensuring the applicant, if admitted, will be placed in the appropriate course selection. The EXPLORE test is scheduled for January 9, 2010. It will begin at 8:00am lasting approximately 2 hours - 2 1/2 hours if the student is taking the Spanish assessment. Reservations must be made in advance. A $25 testing fee is required at the time of the reservation if no Application for Admission has been submitted at the time the reservation is made (the $25 testing fee is included in the $255 application/enrollment fee).
Submit Grade Transcripts and Standardized Test Scores (for example Terra Nova, ISAT, Iowa Basics, etc.).

Submit a Statement of Proficiency in English writing, speaking, reading, and comprehension in the form of the SLEP test results. Test results must be provided in English at the time of application.
Submit a copy of the applicants Passport and a notarized Proof of Residency.
Note: If any applicant is seeking accomodations for a disability, an evaluation must be provided by qualified medical personnel. The Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan must be presented at the time of application.
