Visiting Alumni
STM Alumni
Thanks to the strong leadership of the Class of 2010, STM Student Council hosted its First Annual Homecoming Parade and an exciting week stacked with lots of activities. Parade participants included STM Cheerleaders, Team Captains, Saber Pack Leaders and Homecoming Court.
Each class was represented by a float and each club participated with a "spirit board". Homecoming contest winners: Float Contest/Senior Class; Spirit Board Contest/Spanish Club; Nail Painting Contest/Alex Bechtel; Car Decorating Contest/Ashley Wilson. The Saber Pack cheered the football team onto a victory over the St. Joe Spartans, 20-19. STM 2008 Homecoming King and Queen, Vince Noel and Susie Jean, led the 2009 Homecoming Court to the field during halftime: Senior Court/Ainsley Reiser and Tyler Faught, Ashley Wilson and Jordan Wellinghoff, Katie DeBrock and Justin Telthorst, Tori Becker and Tyler Johnson, Bailey Krouse and Tyler Sullivan; Junior Attendants/Monica Prichard and Andrew Walsh; Sophomore Attendants/Miranda Becker and CJ Young; Freshmen Attendants/Hadley Murray and Tommy Fitzgerald. Tyler Sullivan and Katie DeBrock were crowned 2009 Homecoming King and Queen.
The Sabers were thrilled to welcome home over 100 STM Alumni who returned to participate in the Friday night activities, along with former school Chaplain Father Joe Dondanville. The entire Saber community cheered as Travis Bedwell flew his wings over the football field at kick-off. On behalf of the administration, faculty, staff, coaches, and Student Council, a BIG thank you to our parade judges (Rob Foreman, Class of 2004; Alicia Tucker, Class of 2005; Rhea Michaels, Class of 2008) and our many volunteers who helped with the 2009 Homecoming Celebration. Your volunteerism keeps our Saber spirit alive!
