Varsity at CPCI
Will Rudolphi threw a 3-hit shutout to improve to 4-1 as Saber varsity baseball beat CPCI 10-0 Thursday in Cissna Park. Rudolphi struck out 8 and walked none. Jason Herzog and Julian Boswell both hit 2-run home runs for STM. Herzog also singled and scored three runs, Tyler Sullivan singled, doubled and scored twice and Jake Kluth and Zach Johnson each had run-scoring doubles for the Sabers, now 18-2 (10-0) and winners of 17 straight. STM plays Clifton Central in a key conference doubleheader, this Saturday, 10am at Saber Field.
