The High School of Saint Thomas More


In 2014, The High School of St. Thomas More was named a National Blue Ribbon School by the US Secretary of Education.


The National Blue Ribbon award is earned based on overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups.


National Blue Ribbon Schools demonstrate that all students can achieve to high levels.


STM is one of only 50 private and 287 public schools to earn the 2014 National Blue Ribbon School. 

History



The High School of Saint Thomas More is the 7th and newest high school of the Catholic Diocese of Peoria. Opening its doors in August of 2000, this comprehensive, co-educational, four-year high school with a college preparatory emphasis. The first class graduated from The High School of Saint Thomas More in 2003.
