College Planning

The High School of Saint Thomas More lives up to its accreditation as a college preparatory institution. We take very seriously our role in helping our students plan a high school career to enable them the best opportunity to achieve success in higher education. That process begins in the freshman year and becomes most active during the senior year.

Having graduated only one senior class, we do not yet have many statistics to prove our ability to guide our students in to college. However, please consider the following:

• 100% of the Class of 2003 went on to college or university (17 students total)
• Eight were admitted to the University of Illinois and five chose to attend
• Our valedictorian chose to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
